THE HOLLYWOOD KNIGHTS opens. Directed by Floyd Mutrux. Written by Richard Lederer and William Tennant.  A raucous group of Beverly Hills high school seniors vent their displeasure at the closure of their favourite diner by spending Halloween night, 1965, trick or treating the suburb's local cops and parents with random acts of lewdness and debauchery. Raunchy, low brow American Graffiti meets Porkys riff  with Robert Whul as the prime instigator of the film's litany of gross-out vulgarities, while future stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Tony Danza and Fran Drescher try to retain their dignity in brief appearances.
