Mountains Of The Moon opens in New York to positive reviews. Adapted by director Bob Rafelson and William Harrison, from Harrison's 1982 novel Burton and Speke, the film chronicles the 1858 African expedition that led British explorers Richard Francis Burton and John Hanning Speke to discover the source of the Nile river.
