BARBAROSA opens for a two week run. Directed by Fred Schepisi, from a screenplay by William D. Wittliff. In pre-Civil War Texas and Mexico, a grizzled, career outlaw (singer Willie Nelson) reluctantly takes Gary Busey's callow, on-the-run farmboy under his wing as an apprentice partner in crime. Spirited, handsomely mounted, little seen exercise in Western myth-making.
