DON'T LOOK NOW, directed by Nicolas Roeg, from a screenplay by Allan Scott and Chris Bryant, based on a short story by Daphne du Maurier opens in New York. A portentous, psychologically outfitted, red herringed Gothic chiller set in a wintry Venice with Donald Sutherland & Julie Christie as an English couple whose extant trauma following the death of their daughter is further amplified by an escalating profusion of unsettling, precognitive visions and omens.
