Directed by Lewis Milestone. Written by Harry Brown and Charles Lederer, from a story by George Clayton Johnson and Jack Golden Russell. A breezy, bouncy, nostalgia-heavy crime caper with Rat Pack cool cats Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Peter Lawford as the nominal leaders of an eleven strong band of former war paratroopers who reunite to carry out a military-precise, New Year's Eve heist at five Las Vegas casinos. Co-starring Joey Bishop, Henry Silva, Richard Conte, Angie Dickinson and Cesar Romero. In 2001 Steven Soderbergh directs the first of three remakes featuring George Clooney in the Sinatra role.
